Mr. Culp worked for the Stryker Corporation for 31 years, ultimately serving as the Vice President, Global Research & Development and General Manager of the IMT (Incubation of Medical Technology) business unit and the SGTC (Stryker Global Tech Center). Stryker is a world-leading medical technology company with $17 billion in revenues. As the leader of Stryker’s IMT group located in Kalamazoo MI, he was responsible for incubating new businesses, including team and technology architectures required to ensure Stryker's continued leadership in future medical markets around the globe. robotics. Previously Mr. Culp served as Vice President of Research and Development at Stryker's Instruments Division where he managed a global R&D team and delivered numerous world- class product platforms to the market. He holds 29 patents with additional applications pending. Mr. Culp currently serves as the board president of Stryke Force, a Kalamazoo-based FIRST Robotics organization committed to providing STEM exposure and teaching to students. Mr. Culp also serves as a member of the Engineering Advisory Council for the University of Michigan.
